A training camp for cyclists from Turkmenistan held in the UAE

In preparation for the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, the national cycling team of Turkmenistan held training camp in the United Arab Emirates.

At the invitation of the UAE Cycling Federation and with the assistance of the Embassy of Turkmenistan, Turkmenistan national cycling team held training camp from 15 to 23 of February 2017 in the Emirate of Sharjah.

Under the guidance of a worldwide recognized well experienced coach from Russian Albert Kolybin, athletes practiced and sharpened their skills in road cycling in order to achieve high results.

Place and time of training camps were not chosen by chance. Cyclists from Turkmenistan will participate in the Asian Cycling Championships, which will begin on February 24 in the capital of Bahrain, Manama. Camping in the UAE provided the opportunity for athletes to train in the conditions similar to those that will be in Bahrain.
